First things first… what is silicone?
Silicone is a bit of a hybrid between synthetic rubber and synthetic plastic polymers. It can take on different forms and is used to create malleable rubberlike items. Silicone is super flexible, hardwearing and malleable. It can take serious heat and is water resistant too.
It’s also a more sustainable alternative than plastic, making it a great choice if you’re looking to make more environmentally friendly choices this year.

Our new C’est Silicone! range uses 100% food grade silicone which is BPA-, BPS- and PVC-free, meaning it’s super safe for your little one to use. You can start your little one using an open cup from as young as four months old. Using an open cup will help your baby to learn to sip rather than suck, which is better for their teeth in their early life. Holding on to an open cup without handles will also help them with their fine motor skills.
Our C’est Silicone! 2oz/59ml Open Cup is the ideal cup when they start to use an open cup. The fact it’s made with such a flexible and durable material means it has a strong bite force tolerance – it can cope well with teething babies! The weighted base and thick silicone walls help stop the cup from tipping over, while the flared rim makes drinking easy – even for babies as young as four months.
C’est Silicone! 4oz/118ml Cup
As your little one gets older and has graduated from their open cup, you can start to introduce a straw cup – again without the handle.
Our C’est Silicone! 4oz/118ml Open Cup holds more in volume than the 2oz cup, but it still has all the added benefits of silicone plus with a handy lid to prevent major spills. The fact that it’s a little heavier than plastic again helps with your little one’s fine motor skills, too.

Crumbs. Yes, we’re all dealing with them all the time with our little ones. Whatever snack you give them, they seem to get crumbs all over themselves, the furniture and the floor. It’s a never ending and impossible task to keep clean!
